Zoe Saldana Stars in ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ Trailer

Kharam Kong - Wednesday, April 16, 2014

Zoe Saldana stars in the trailer for the upcoming NBC miniseries adaptation, Rosemary’s Baby.

NBC stated that the two-part, four-hour miniseries is based on Ira Levin’s best-selling 1967 suspense novel, and not a remake of the Oscar-winning 1968 Roman Polanski film, though the story is essentially the same.

Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) plays Rosemary, who moves to Paris with her husband, Guy Woodhouse, played by Patrick J. Adams (Suits, Luck). He comes into money, they are housed in a prime apartment in Paris, and she gets pregnant. It seems life could not get more perfect, but her pregnancy takes a turn towards the supernatural.  ”There are some things in this ultrasound that I’ve never seen before,” Rosemary’s doctor tells her after viewing the fetus on an ultrasound.

In the trailer, Rosemary develops doubts about the origins of her child, and paranoia about her neighbors. “There are witches in my building,” Rosemary says.

The trailer also indicates Rosemary’s husband plays a larger role than in the novel or Polanski’s film, showing the motivations behind his involvement with and deal-making with some suspicious characters.

The end of the trailer below finds Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows) telling Saldana she was chosen to be the baby’s mother.

“By who?,” asks Seldana, and Isaacs responds with a chilling, telling head tilt.

Is her child the Antichrist? We’ll find out soon enough!

Part one of Rosemary’s Baby airs on Mother’s Day, Monday, May 11, with the conclusion on May 15. Watch the trailer below.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer is currently on her U.S. Bangerz tour and was scheduled to perform at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., but instead is laid up in bed after taking antibiotics.

"Kansas I promise I'm as heartbroken you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel sh***ier than I already do," she tweeted. "Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me," she added, with a photo of her leggy friend to cheer her up.

Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled.

"Refunds for tickets will be available at the point of ticket purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be automatically refunded." Cyrus had complained of feeling ill the day before on Twitter, stating that she had a fever, sore throat and was "#SICK."

Rita Ora Flaunts Major Cleavage at 2014 MTV Movie Awards

Kharam Kong - Monday, April 14, 2014

Rita Ora stepped out to the 2014 MTV Movie Awards looking gorgeous in sideswept waves and a bright red lip…but let's be real here, that's not what everybody's talking about.
We can't help but notice Rita's sultry (and super plunging) neckline on her long black gown. We always knew Rita loved the "va va voom" look, but she's really going for the sex appeal in this jaw-dropping getup.

Rita showed off her enviable waistline in this figure-flattering gown, and we love the little details like the scalloped detailing at the shoulders.
But what we appreciate most about Rita's "wowzer" look is that because she's showing so much cleavage, she keeps the rest of her style fairly simple and toned down. She manages to look red hot and sophisticated at the same time.

Rolling Stone flubs Constitution tattoo on cover

Kharam Kong - Saturday, April 12, 2014

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Julia Louis-Dreyfus better hope her latest tattoo is a temporary one.
The cover image of next month's Rolling Stone magazine featuring the "Veep" star depicts a nude Louis-Dreyfus with a tattoo of the U.S. Constitution signed by John Hancock across her back. The problem is Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.

Louis-Dreyfus jokingly blamed the blunder on Mike McClintock, the fictional "Veep" character played by Matt Walsh who serves as communications director to Louis-Dreyfus' Vice President Selina Meyer on the HBO comedy series.
"Yet another Mike (expletive)," the 53-year-old actress posted Wednesday on Twitter. "Dummy."
The National Constitution Center in Philadelphia mocked the flub by tweeting a photo of the cover alongside such Founding Fathers as George Washington and Benjamin Franklin in Signers' Hall with the words, "Thanks for the shoutout but no Hancock here."
Rolling Stone spokeswoman Melissa Bruno said the Declaration of the Independence is on the other side of Louis-Dreyfus' body, but they couldn't fit in the signatures.
Inside the magazine, another image shot by photographer Mark Seliger shows a man in a colonial wig tattooing Hancock's signature above the bare bottom of the Seinfeld actress,
"I'm a perfectionist in my work," Louis-Dreyfus notes in the magazine's cover story. "I think I might drive people nuts. I don't ask them, because I don't need that (expletive) on top of how I'm feeling."
